My Yogic Journey
As a teenager I worked in a nursing home and frequently lifted patients from their beds to their wheel chairs. I compressed the vertebrae in my lumbar spine and often experienced nerve pain so badly I could not move. At one point I was taken to a hospital via ambulance because I could not get up from my desk.
Then a friend introduced me to yoga. Using yoga, I learned to create space in my spine and have not been plagued with back pain since. I am thankful that I can share the benefits of yoga with others.
